At St. Elizabeth’s baseball we offer children a chance to play with friends, classmates, and represent our parish as well as build upon the fundamentals of baseball. We encourage ALL Parishioners to play baseball with us even if you already play on other teams as many of our players also play in other leagues. With games on Sunday and a few Saturdays there is rarely a conflict with rec or travel leagues. Many of our players play both rec or travel and CYO baseball. CYO is very competitive and plays a high level of competition. Our Mission is to honor God by playing with sportsmanship, demonstrating Catholic values and playing as hard as we can to win. Come be a part of the fun!
* Varsity = 7th and 8th grade
* Junior Varsity = 5th and 6th grade
CYO baseball is a competitive program and tryouts/evaluations will be held to pick players for each level (A/B). Depending on the number of players that register, we may field multiple teams in the Varsity and Junior Varsity divisions.
The baseball season begins in early March when tryouts and practices will begin. The regular season ends in late May and teams may participate in Regional playoffs that will begin in late May if selected based on their regular season record.
The Registration fee for all levels of baseball is $150 (+late fee $15 after 2/18) for players that attend any catholic school, religious education program, or youth group membership). This must be paid before uniforms are distributed. Registration is conducted on-line via this web site (Home > Program Registration).
Players will be provided a uniform jersey and belt, which must be returned at the end of the season, and cap. Players must supply their own gray baseball pants and navy blue socks and belt. No metal cleats are permitted in CYO Baseball.
Home games and practices take place at Hickory Park. Away games are played at various locations throughout Chester County.
If you have any questions or are interested in coaching (we need some coaches for both Varsity and JV) please call Vince O'connell @ 484-326-1805 or email email@example.com
